Dr. Celena Zadi
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Dr. Celena Zadi is the visionary Co-Founder of WOM and serves as the Executive Director, responsible for program initiatives, strategic partnership, and NGO relations; importing a diverse background from both business and the arts. As the Director of Marketing, she established a prominent platform for a specialty brand, successfully distinguishing the company in the luxury lifestyle and accessories market. The company has been featured in numerous media, including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Newsweek, Barron’s, The New Yorker, Elle, Robb Report, NBC TV, and other international publications.
Music and children are her passion. After collaborating with notable vocal artists, she traveled to perform at prestigious international concert halls, including the United Nations. “She has a voice that legends are made of”; remarked one ambassador; “it transforms the soul.” She holds a doctorate in Psycho-Spiritual Counseling, and is the voice behind Wheel of Miracles anthem song “When I was a child”, scheduled to debut at the WOM gala event in 2019. Plans include publishing a book on the impact of music on healing and a global singing tour, to share the transformative experience of inspired music.
“I am deeply driven to strengthen the foundation for children without families; I grew up an orphan since the age of two. Adverse childhood experiences lead to undesired consequences; so we turn to science and research for recommended alternatives, and to inspiration; for creative solutions.” – Dr. Celena Zadi.
